Making Waves in Colorado - Ocean Symposium - Boulder, CO

The Colorado Ocean Coalition holds an innovative annual event in Boulder called Making Waves in Colorado. This multifaceted symposium highlights ocean issues, solutions and is a change-making event for engagement and national action. Making Waves provides the general public access and opportunities to interact with cutting edge researchers, well known speakers, award winning film makers and advocates creating an upwelling of supporters and inland ocean activists.

This year, Making Waves welcomes world-renowned explorer and ocean activist Jean-Michel Cousteau as the keynote speaker!

Sea Shepherd will hold an education and outreach table at the Ocean Symposium. Please come out to show your support, learn more about the oceans, and have a chance to meet Jean-Michel Cousteau.

The daytime Ocean Symposium is free and takes place from 8:30am-5pm; however, registration is required. There are also two additional parts to the Making Waves event! There will be a film festival on Oct 20 (one day prior to the Ocean Symposium), and a ticketed/fancy Ocean Celebration on Oct 21 in the evening time, subsequent to the Ocean Symposium. Sea Shepherd will only have a table at the Ocean Symposium. We hope to see you there!
