Why Just One ? screening - St Catharines, Ontario, Canada

Saturday, November 26, 2016 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Please join Sea Shepherd for an exclusive screening of our documentary film “Why Just One?”.

The film exposes the threats that have led to the shocking decline in sea turtle populations around the world. It follows Sea Shepherd’s campaign “Operation Jairo”, which takes place in Florida, Honduras and Costa Rica, and whose primary purpose is to protect the endangered populations of green, leatherback, hawksbill, olive ridley and loggerhead turtles.

The world’s turtle population faces many dangers to their lives, including; poaching, fishing-net entanglement, consuming trash in the ocean, and disorientation from artificial light sources.  Without Sea Shepherd’s protections, these icons of the ocean, will rapidly become extinct.

We will have crew-members and local volunteers present to update you on our current campaigns, and authentic merchandise will be available for purchase at some locations.

Come out and learn how you can help us save the turtles, and our oceans!

The screening is free though we will be taking donations at the door..
