RUBBER JELLYFISH Bremerton Screening

Tuesday, January 8, 2019 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Documentary film maker from Australia Carly Wilson spent the last four years working on a conservation documentary called Rubber Jellyfish.

The film explores the phenomenon of balloons bursting into jellyfish-like shapes which result in so many marine wildlife fatalities (they mostly focus on sea turtles) and the balloon industry greenwashing campaign that lead to this.

Sea Shepherd Australia was featured in the film, and a speaker from Sea Shepherd Seattle will open up the film with a brief talk on Sea Shepherd's Marine Debris Program.

We hope to see you there!
