World Love for Dolphins Day

Saturday, February 16, 2019 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is calling on volunteers, supporters and concerned individuals to join us as we show our love for dolphins and call for an end to the captive dolphin trade that funds the slaughter of cetaceans.

On the heels of the recent global outcry condemning the brutal and inhumane dolphin hunts in Taiji, Japan, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is now focusing our attention on other organizations that help continue the slaughter. It’s not only Japan who is part of the torture, there are other establishments that help with the process of captivity. Transportation plays a key role; therefore, shipping dolphins to their captive tanks is where we will focus our attention. FedEx Corporation is known for shipping dolphins and we intend to let them know how wrong it is to do this to these amazing creatures.
On Saturday February 16th, please join Sea Shepherd Conservation Society Baltimore/DC Chapter at a “World Love for Dolphin’s Day” demonstration at FedEx Corporation 1700 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington, DC 20006-4700 from 11am to 12:30pm.

Bring your voices, signs, friends and most of all your passion and help us tell FedEx to stop shipping wild dolphins because they deserve to live free in the ocean.
