Join Sea Shepherd Conservation Society at The Seed: A Vegan Experience. Sea Shepherd NYC chapter will host an outreach and education table at the event along with other earth-friendly vendors. In addition to the vendors, there will be speakers, movie screenings, and a craft fair. The Seed: A Vegan Experience will take place on May 18 (10:00 am – 7:00 pm) and 19 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm), 2012. Learn about the plight of our oceans and marine wildlife, talk to campaign members, and learn how you can get involved in ocean conservation. We will be selling official Sea Shepherd merchandise that helps to fund our mission, as well as signing up new Direct Action Crew members.
In addition, learn more about Operation Infinite Patience, Sea Shepherd's land-based campaign in Taiji, Japan monitoring, documenting, and exposing the slaughter and captivity of dolphins. Here the experiences from Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians and learn how you can get involved.
Those who attend The Seed will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow health-conscious individuals, animal advocates, and environmentalists, while perusing 25,000 square feet of vegan goodness. Guests will enjoy a variety of vegan-inspired activities including cooking demonstrations, films, and presentations by prominent vegan advocates.
